Update on Racial Justice Praxis Cohorts

Yesterday was the first kick-off meeting of the Racial Justice Praxis Cohorts. Twenty-six EQATers came together to begin the process of Learning, Acting, and Reflecting that will carry us through this four-part series. EQAT members engaged spiritually and intentionally with being anti-racist as individuals, an organization, and a society, and to lay the groundwork for the actions we will take in this program. Facilitators Dwight, Lina, and Monty put together an amazing session, and set us off with resources to begin this journey.
We hope that, if you have not registered to join a cohort already, you will join us for the second kick-off session, taking place on Thursday, June 30th, 7-9 pm on Zoom. In this session, you will begin reflecting and visioning in a facilitated large group setting, and be connected with the cohort that you will be with for mutual support and accountability in taking actions and reflecting between monthly facilitated sessions.
This is an opportunity to be at your growing edge within the EQAT community to not only learn about but also to take action around racial justice. We look forward to engaging in this new expression of our commitment to be part of an anti-racist, environmental justice organization together with you!
