General meetings are held virtually most months. As covid levels are generally low in the Philadelphia region, when meeting for in-person indoor activities, we encourage you to wear a mask during the event or take a covid test beforehand. EQAT expects that those who are eligible will be vaccinated and boosted against covid in order to participate in in-person activities.

Note on General Meeting: We will not be holding a July General Meeting. Our next one will be in August, and it will be in person! RSVP link and details to come soon!

Please contact us with any questions.

With our action goals set, it’s time to build our team. From de-escalation to spiritual anchoring, every role is crucial for success. In this week’s workshop, we’ll hear stories of 15+ years of action with Earth Quaker Action Team and map out the essential roles needed to manage the dynamic needs of on-the-ground action. Through interactive small group exercises, you’ll gain practical experience in coordinating and supporting your team, ensuring a united and powerful impact. If you joined us last time, consider joining a different breakout group focusing on the roles of action lead, street marshal, and spiritual anchor. This is session 2 in our 3-part series with Quaker Earthcare Witness.

Actions rarely go exactly as planned. How do we respond when our actions change or something unexpected happens? In this final training in our series with Quaker Earthcare Witness and Earth Quaker Action Team, we’ll sink our teeth into a variety of scenario examples and explore how to navigate complex situations, including police interactions, counter-protests, and shifting risk assessments. If you joined our previous session of this training, know that this session will explore new scenarios and choices. Develop your ability to assess, reflect, and make informed decisions in real-time, building resilience and strengthening your impact. This is the final session in our series with Quaker Earthcare Witness.
